Independent status
Edward Printer Solutions is an independent company providing on-site printer solutions to businesses, and free step-by-step printer guides by email. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Lexmark, Samsung, Xerox, or any other printer or computer manufacturer.
Edward Printer Solutions provides printer solutions to businesses only. We do not provide services to households or for personal use.
Trademark notice
HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Lexmark, Samsung, Xerox and all other brand names, product names and model numbers mentioned on this website are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. They are referenced strictly to identify compatible hardware. Their mention does not imply any business relationship with, or endorsement by, their owners. We do not show manufacturer logos.
Guides are not manufacturer manuals
Our PDF guides are compiled from publicly available manufacturer documentation and common printer behaviour. They are general reference material, not manufacturer manuals, and may not reflect the latest firmware or software versions. Manufacturer documentation, drivers and firmware are available from each manufacturer's own website.
On-site visits are an independent service
When your business books an on-site visit, it contracts with us, not with the manufacturer of its printers. The technician who visits is independent and does not represent any manufacturer. Manufacturer warranty claims, recalls and warranty repairs must be arranged directly with the manufacturer or its own service network.
If your printer is still under manufacturer warranty, check the warranty terms before booking a repair: the manufacturer may repair it free of charge. In the United States, federal law generally does not let a manufacturer void a warranty only because an independent technician worked on the printer, but warranty terms vary, so check yours first.
Accuracy and updates
We take care to keep guides accurate, but hardware, drivers and operating systems change frequently. If a step in a guide does not match your device, stop and contact us or consult the manufacturer's documentation. We update guides when we become aware of changes.
